Hiking Directions
Scouts will hike into Bort Meadows from the
MacDonald Staging
Area which is on Redwood Road. Here is a link to the
Chabot Regional Park website which has a color map showing this hiking
trail.

Access to Bort Meadows itself is limited and controlled via a locked
gate.
Adult and Staff Meal Sign-ups
Adults are welcome at Camporee but you must sign up and pay for meals
in advance. Signing up can be done by i) signing up with your
unit, ii) stopping by
the Scout Office or iii) mailing in this form with a check.
Each Troop should fill out this form for any adult leader and scouts on staff that will be eating. PLEASE TURN IN SIGN-UPS AND MONEY TO THE SCOUT OFFICE BY
MAY 12.

Piedmont Camporee 2008
When:
Friday

Where:
Bort
Meadow, Anthony Chabot Park
What:
A scout weekend of competitive events, plus two nights of
camping, a campfire with entertainment and fun.
Who:
Piedmont Council boyscouts from all five BSA Troops in Piedmont.
A group of Webelos may also attend, camp and observe.
Adults are welcome but must sign up in advance and pay for
meals.
Why:
Fun, camping, learning, being in the outdoors, camaraderie, games and
scout spirit.
